There is nothing great about it and sometimes it struggles to even be good, but I did find a lot of fun in it.
Just like Saints Row before it, all it had to do to separate itself self, was find "its thing", and while the hacking might be pretty shallow and simple, I thought it was cool new mechanic to open world gaming.

I played for a few hours and never fired it up again. fricking terrible game. I had almost forgotten about it until this thread.

Nah I had a blast playing through the main story. Could have been executed better, but I thought people were entirely too harsh on it. Very fun.

When a game is hyped and delayed for years, anything but widespread disappointment is not possible. The development time on this game was just as long as Bethesda took to develop and release Skyrim.
