For those who choose Frokie as a starter.
Does he feel a bit weak to you in the higher lvls 55+?
Maybe I'm didn't train him right but he seems to not offer much high lvl.

Yea I've been having the same experience. If i don't knock out the opponent with one hit then Greninjas in trouble because he can't take a hit (That sturdy ability is a real sob). Need to train the Special Attack and get a nice tm/hm for him

I've heard similar things from others. My Delphox isn't exactly tough, but he does hit like a truck with powerful fire and psychic moves.
eta:
Just beat the elite four. Delphox is mater race. 3 of the four members are steel, dragon, and fire. Delphox can dispatch steel with fire moves and dispatch fire and dragon with psychic moves. The water trainer is a pain, but psychic is still effective and you have 5 other slots. The champion is a pansy and got raped by Fire Blast and Psychic.
