Well there's a HUGE demand for it now. Imagine how many they would sell on day 1 if they released a new one that included real teams and the College Football Playoff. I promise I would preorder it and pick it up the day it's released.

Not a lawyer but I heard Aaron Greenberg say it's one of the most requested but ea would have to clear legal hurdles.

They didn't have any licenses so they shizzolated the vowels. Jay Bell became Jey Bill, for example.
I have no idea how they got away with that. I assume there's a reason nobody ever pulled that since.

I remember one of the baseball games had all the players the same but for some reason they didn't have Barry Bonds. They did just happen to have this lefty named like Joe Smith or something like that which looked exactly like Barry.
