Did I make a terrible mistake?

I mostly like action and sports games and I'm not a hardcore gamer.

On the PS4? No.

On Bloodborne? If it's not your style of game then yeah probably.

If you like sports games you should have bought NBA 2K18 or Madden 18 or MLB The Show 17.

I have a bunch of sports games on my ps3

I've played Dark Souls and I liked it though I quit pretty early on. Is the story line for Bloodbourne better than Dark Souls?

As someone who had never played a Dark Souls game before it was a pretty frustrating game to figure out. But I have to admit once you do its up there as one of my favorite games I've played on PS4.

The combat of Bloodborne is a lot more fast paced than dark souls and the story is better

Be patient with it and it's really a great game. You will die a lot of times.

If you aren't a hardcore gamer Bloodbourne will likely make you wanna pull your hair out for weeks.

Stick with it. It will convert you and you'll love hard games like you never dreamed you could. The feeling of accomplishment you get when you finally down a boss you've been stuck on for hours or days (or weeks) is a high no video game can match.
