Halo 2 had the best online experience ever for the first few months it was out. It was perfect before the standby era started. I fricking loved everything about halo 2 matchmaking

This, then the modders...I got up to 38 legit, then you couldn't get into a game at that level without being hacked.

3. No reticule bloom. Reticule bloom sucks. It makes gun fights a game of chance instead of making players adjust their aim.

Reticule Bloom has been in every Halo game. Reach was the first game where the gamer was allowed to see it on screen.

Reticule bloom separates the the good shooters from the crap shooters. Each gun has a rhythm to shoot with that eliminates the bloom.

It was no where near this dramatic, and no it didn't exist on the BR.

This is a stupid argument, it made medium to long distance fire fights annoying.

I gave up Halo after Halo 3.

Halo 3 was great and gave me some really fun times. Racking up a vehicular manslaughter on my ghost and listening to little kids cry about it.

Bring back the pistol and have a "best of" level pack. Strip the game down and get back to the basics. Weapons, vehicles, and grenades. Increase shotgun range and bring back the freeze aspect of the plasma rifle. Basically make it as much like halo 1 as possible.

I was really good when it first came out and I played it a lot. I stopped playing anywhere near as much and also started messing around as much as I played so my k/d isn't that great.

What I loved about halo, k/d didn't really mean all that much. I think the CoD and BF franchises have really become k/d oriented, which has carried over to games like Halo.

Halo was all about seeing how highly ranked you could get (with the number ranking, of course).

Ehhhh.

Winning caused your number to move up and down.

To beat the other team, you have to kill more of them than they kill you.

You accomplish this by keeping your k/d positive. People with higher k/ds are able to shoulder the load of crappy players that inevitably end up on your team.

I was a 45 in lonewolves, I got up to a 43 in team deathmatch, but started screwing around and I think I'm a 36 now, I got up to a 41 in 2v2 (loaded stat though, I was badass at that when the game first came out, but they screwed the maps up), and I forget what I was in SWAT.

I know that, but not everyone was spouting out their k/d and focusing most of their time trying to keep a solid k/d like you see in the CoD series.

When Droid43 and I played, we would send people a picture of a backpack if they sucked dick and we still won.

Seriously, people that go 3-12 need to die in a fire.
