Reticule Bloom has been in every Halo game. Reach was the first game where the gamer was allowed to see it on screen.

Reticule bloom separates the the good shooters from the crap shooters. Each gun has a rhythm to shoot with that eliminates the bloom.

Reticule bloom was in halo 1, but it was not in halo 2/3. Your telling me the sniper and br have reticule bloom?

And the pro players despise reticule bloom, because it does the exact opposite of what you are saying.

1. Bring bank numbered rank system. It made everyone try that much harder in every game and paired good players with good players more often than not.

2. Bring back the BR. (Done thank god.)

3. No reticule bloom. Reticule bloom sucks. It makes gun fights a game of chance instead of making players adjust their aim.

4. Get rid of fricking armor lock and all of the load-out bull shite. It breaks the game.

Nailed it right there. I loved Halo 2 and 3. Got up to 40 before I got hacked/standbyed back down in H2 and got 50 in a few playlists in H3. They also need to go back to standard issue camo and OS only for powerups. None of this grav lift, power drain, bubble shield, etc. from Halo 3. Hopefully they go back to the number ranking from Halo 2 as well. H3's wasn't bad, but rankings meant a lot more in terms of skill in Halo 2 before the cheating was rampant in every playlist.

I'll be picking up a new Xbox just for Halo if it's everything Reach wasn't.

I think he's saying that if you rock and roll on the assault rifle, the bullets will not be as accurate even if you deal with the recoil.

95% of people who had symbols for ranks, which started at 44, were cheaters.

The clips ive seen look promising. I think it will be a good game. This is a make or break game for the halo franchise. Im sure they realize that and wont go way overboard.

The little gameplay thats out of 4 so far gets me really amped up. Looks like there still will be sprint which isnt a total buzzkill. But i heard there will be some sort of loadout system which is lame.

Hopefully 343 focuses purely on gameplay and not all the other BS. Halo 2 worked great with a BR start because you had a fighting chance against any power weapon if you were skilled. The reason the DMR sucks so bad is because it's terrible at close range and you are screwed in a close combat situation against a damn AR or Shotty. Now the AR and shotty should have advantage but because the DMR shoots so slow you have pretty much zero chance even if you are skilled. In Halo 1 you spawned with a Pistol. At close range the Plasma Rifle, AR, and Shotty had an advantage but a skilled shooter could shoot themselves out of a bad situation. The sniper had an advantage at long range but because the Pistol had such great range a skilled shooter could at least keep a sniper out of zoom until they could find cover Halo 2 was the same way with the BR because it was a weaker version of the pistol and they made the shotgun with less range and the Sniper with less range. It all balanced out.
