Damn, this is the only game I'm truly waiting for (unless there's really another installment to the red dead series). I just hope it's not a let down when/if it finally arrives.

I hate to break the news, but the game is going to a huge let down...at the least graphically. The graphics they showed at the E3 reveal is not possible or even close to possible on consoles.
Also, the scope of game they showed off at E3 ("MMO"esque) is also going to be hard to achieve IMO.
Plus....it is Ubisoft.

They won't achieve those graphics for sure. I'm sure most of the missions will be unlocking towers

After getting burnt on the hype from Watchdogs, AC:Unity and Halo:MCC (two Ubisoft games), I feel that there needs to be a little more reality checking going on in these threads.

There is nothing I've seen that would make me less excited for it. If that's NOT what the final game will be, then no, it won't live up to it. But how do you predict that?

and I just watched the Trailer for the first time... darn you ubisoft, darn you, this game does actually look like it would be good. Curse you Ubisoft, I know this game will be crappy, but curse you for making it look like that!!! :(

Well, watchdogs had a ton of bad press pre-release with all of the graphical comparisons and downgrade talk. Will see what happens.
I always assumed no news/delays killed excitement.

I agree, the hype is lowered with delays, but Ubisoft doesn't plan on releasing a game of this magnitude without getting that "pre-order hype" back up at some point.
