The option I was referring to was being able to use first person....i didn't like third person ....

Yeah not like you couldn't toss a drone in before you breach a wall not knowing what's on the other side.

Loving the thermal nerf, wish they’d give the motion detection on the scout drone the same treatment.

What else do you expect the guy to do? Stand out in the open to give you the advantage?

I actually went and bought ghost recon just because of this thread. I'll admit, it's a fun game. The multi-player is solid.. But it's a MUCH slower paced multi-player than r6s. And pointing out the tactical move that you are supposed to use prior to breaching a room is being a pussy? Come on mannnnn. Really?
Now I just need to find a micd up crew to run with and it'll be more fun. But r6>wildlands still.

I find sniping way more enjoyable, it’s actually a hunt now. The only thing I’d change at this point is, as previously stated, how you have to stop and drop when the scout drone goes up, even if you’re walking on the other side of a mountain. The fact that it pings movement regardless of cover is dumb.

I just picked up this game for $20 and am pretty excited about playing it after reading this.
Any tips for a noob? I haven't played RB6. Just BF and COD.
Do I need to play the campaign for a bit first to familiarize myself and rank up before PVP?

Campaign is lots of fun especially if you have a buddy or 2 that has the game as well. Strategizing as a team through all the missions is awesome. I’m sure playing campaign even solo would help you get used to the game, but it wouldn’t hurt to at least try jumping right into pvp if that’s all you wanna do.

The ability to change optics is awesome and long overdue. Removing mines from snipers was retarded. Not sure how i feel about uplink yet, doesn’t really feel any different than elimination.

Ghost War is a lot of fun. It's very tactical and relies on good communication. It's definitely a great change of pace from Battlefield or CoD.
