No they are stand alone unless there is a direct sequel like 13-2 and 10-2.

Characters are all new as well. Usually creatures can be similar but this one seems completely new.

Yeah there's some recurring themes but you should be fine just now picking it up because each one has its own story and elements.

Only thing I wish is that if they were going to do this active battle it would have been more like 13's. Seems you really just have control over Noctis with the occasional option to hit a combo with one of the guys.

Not possible. I put more hours into the demo than I did the witcher as a whole.

Hopefully the game kicks arse. During the FF7-FF10 stretch, I was absolutely obsessed about the series. 12 was pretty good, but I haven't been into any of the others since.

Only acceptable if they're cancelling the season pass to add in the DLC. After they announced that the DLC will make each party member playable, I wonder if they'll try to fit that in 1.0 release.

frick. I guess my pre-order will still stand? I beat witcher 3 last month and downloaded Pier Solar, a 50 hour 16 bit xbone rpg, to hold me off until sept 30 along with madden coming out at the end of this month. Looks like I may have to find something else. Might co-op the gears series with my roommate or dive into divinity: original sin

Oh well at least they didnt rush it out. Two months of optimizing is okay, I waited for NMS and it turned out awesome.

Yeah I watched the video. Said it is playable but not to their standards. A patch would fix it but doesn't want to screw those over who can't download the patch.

I think it's kinda weak, but I do know that there are a lot of people that still don't connect their machines to the internet.
