Last night, Square Enix held its Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event in Los Angeles. The big news was the game’s release date. Which leaked early. Heh. But that wasn’t all.

The official reveal is tonight (not sure what time) I'm sure they will say "demo available NOW in the PS Store" or something like Kojima did with P.T. and it will be there.

Wonder if the gameplay will have some Kingdom Hearts meshed in there? Either way, the game looks beautiful. Have been eager to try out this demo for a while now

I'm pretty the demo isn't supposed to be very reflective of the actual gameplay of the game, but more of a treat to the fans that are waiting.
So, I think people should dim their hype about it a bit. Hopefully they also put Episode Duscae up as well (that's actually a full demo).

So, they showed a ton of new footage, an original anime, CG movie, release date, limited/collector's edition, and had some FF legacy people (Sakaguchi, Amano, and Uematsu).

Yup and I just spent $300 on the collectors..........never in my life. I just had to. Has the art book..my gf loves the artist who does all the FF work. I'm hyped for the game. I really really am the fricker better be worth it.

I was expecting $170-200. $270 blew past my expectations, but I see they're charging $130 for the figure alone. So, I see how they're trying to justify the value.

With the ff theme in the background to it...
I remember seeing how SE was a little jealous of the "West" winning with fallout and witcher as far as the genre goes. Seems like they are reaching out. Big time. Half the GoT and Aaron Paul will voice the movie. I meannnnnn. It really does seem like they are trying to make things right and take that step to deliver something special.

Just downloaded the demo, holy shite this is amazing.
It represents the final visual style and combat system of the retail release, but this "dream sequence" will not be in the main game.
