ff16 spoilers thread

Wow so everyone predicted the hooden msn was a older joshua. we dont know if its the same one of if hes corrupted or what but they did reveal his face shockingly early into the game. I am at the point you and Jill are returning to phoenix gate the site of the prologue masacre. This is by far thie biggest open explorable area yet getting there. Stil kinda weird I only have phoenix and garuda so far but imagine ill get ramuh or shiva soon. Garuda ia stupidly overpowered.

Also the overbearing beat you over the head with it theme of "slavery is bad" grinds on you at times. At least it does on me.

I find it funny I have been playing straight through since midnight for almost 11 hours so im certain im at least equal to or further than anyone else has gotten yet people come in to downvote when they complain about things they perceive as spoilers in the non spoiler thread. Sorry for posting on the gaming board about what is without doubt going to be one of the best games of the year, its FAR better than zelda and im only level 23. I will make sure to ask your permission next time to discuss it with people who may have experience some of the draw dropping shite in this game already like I have.

Dude, please don't post things like the title. Just name it the "FF16 spoilers thread". I haven't been able to play yet and now I know there is a huge reveal when I return to the Phoenix Gate because of your title.

That's great but your dumb arse is too stupid to realize you posted a spoiler in the title. I'm waiting by my front door today like a dog waiting for it's owner to come home and I already know there is a 'Phoenix Gate' and not only that but we go again in the first hours of the game.

Youre complaining about knowing something called phoenix gate is in the game. It is in the fricking demo you neanderthal. Some of yall are the biggest fricking whiny bitches about spoilers that stretch the bounds of reality. Sorry you didnt even play the demo or that a location where something we ALL KNOW will have an event happen because it shows the dads head getting cut off in every trailer was "spoiled" for you. Since youre in the spoiler thread guess what? Benedicta dies super early. You flat out kill her after the inital battle with her resulting in your finally partially allowing ifrit to come to you and absolutely merk her garuda form. Enjoy!

He killed Joshua the first 12-14 hours of the game is him coming to terms with this finalizing in you and jill returning to phoenix gate the site of the massacre and going through an ancient sort of trial ground created by the "exctinct" forbear civilization in all ff games. This ends with you fighting ifrit in human form then a dark mirror of yourself before unlocking the ability of limit break when you finally accept the truth and get the ill press on no matter the bitter truth that awaits me line from multiple trailers. Anyone get to the point they defeat barnabus and aquire the last eikon Odin yet? I just finished it. 30 min long fight and toughest so far by longggg shot. Obviously haven’t tested Odin yet but out of the rest Bahaumat and Garuda aren the clear best it’s not even really close. You should immediately master bahaumats ultimate move giga flare and impulse so you can use them on whoever, and shiva is so bad I can’t believe they put her moveset like this in the game here O button is very good if you’re skilled it’s a version of Phoenix shift but perfect dodge freezes enemies for a time and they take more damage. I did the trial stone for her where you have to use one eikon and they give you a set two moves each round for 5 rounds and you can’t heal outside of like limit break. Made me wanna pull my hair out.
Ramuh is a bit mediocre but you can form a mage caster type of build using his stuff shivas, a bit of Phoenix and Garuda. His ultimate judgement bolt is probably the h of best single target damage attack inc the game but to upgrade it twice and master it is like 19000 AP. Really looking forward to about to try out odin all ive read is he is sort of his own deal and doesn’t fit with any others and all of his moves and single goal is filling the zanzutzen gage

Also I am a bit disappointed they essentially sort of did a twist on the ff9 story. Instead of aliens wanting to steal bodies a "god" who fled his old world to valetsia made humanity all to wait for someone like clive and joshua to be born with enough ability to soak in enough aether to eradicate humanity because he has a sad his creation got free will.

Beat it finally. It ends in a sort of cliff hanger if Clive is dead. They all think he is. Joshua and Dion died in the final battle. It’s definitely set up for a DLC or sequel

I played about 20 minutes, it's not very good. I dropped it for diablo, maybe they can fix some stuff with patches and i'll try it again in a few years. Character animations are appalling, Square should be embarrassed.
