Mine has to be Halo 3 finish the fight, gives me instant chills hearing the epic music in the background and the chiefs final ride.

The most fun I have ever had in gaming was pulling all nighters online on Socom 2.

Playing through Dark Souls for the first time. The tension and excitement and the rush you get from finally downing a boss you've been dying on for hours if not days is something no game has ever matched.

The end of Mass Effect 2 when you save all your teammates.
Also, the end of Mass Effect 1 when you storm the citadel for the first time.
Both those games ended perfectly.

Setting up LANs to play Ghost Recon, SOCOM 2, and Battlefield 2 with what seemed like the entire dorm.
The mission on GTA Vice City where you ride a motorcycle around the entire map jumping across the tops of the buildings. I just remember saying to myself "what an incredible game".
Beating Super Mario World for the first time. I still bust out the SNES to play this game.

Dark Souls 3 was my first DS game. There were some points where I could feel my heart beating through my chest not knowing what was around that corner, playing on headphones makes it so much better. Then the feeling of accomplishment you get when you finally clear an area or kill a boss.
I'm not gonna touch DS3 for 2 years or so hoping I will forget everything.

I never played DS until after Bloodborne so the first moment I ran into Father G was pretty epic. Just a fun fight all around and it's the game in a nutshell imo.
I just re-bought it last week bc the complete edition is only $13 rn and my heart still races fighting the bosses. Just a great game.

KOTOR when you find out you're Revan. No plot twist has been able to top it.

Long ago - Finally beating Earthbound and Super Mario RPG. Getting the warcraft 2 demo and being amazed at being able to make boats/planes.
Kinda long ago - Playing Gears, CoD and halo online.
Recent - A few red dead redemption moments. Finally sucking it up and playing Fall Out - New Vegas.
Many more but those just popped up in my mind.

Quite a few of my favorite gaming moments are listed but my favorite is from the long dead City of Heroes game.
The game had invasion events with special enemies that your character scaled up to when you fought them. A level one character's basic attack would do as much damage as level 60 character. In theory, in action the level 60 is going to survive a lot longer.
The more players in a certain location the more enemies would spawn in to fight them. So you'd get twenty or more heroes battling it out with dozens and dozens of bad guys at one time. Good times.
So I notice a huge group of alien invaders during one of these events and fly in to help out the folks already there.
Except I landed in the middle of a massive group wipe. Dead heroes everywhere and enough bad guys to fight all of them. I backed my character against a wall and for the next fifteen minutes somehow, someway, managed to hold all the bad guys off until the event ended.
Easily the most epic fight I've ever had in gaming.

-Countless Halo LAN parties
-Countless PC LAN parties, playing CS, annoying AF RTS games my friend was in love with, and beating our heads against the wall on Operation Flashpoint Missions (the planning on these were just as fan and playing them)
-Co-op'ing RE5 over one weekend with a friend, getting every achievement except the MP crap.
-But maybe all time would be the first time saw the starry sky in Skyrim while "Secunda" was playing. Put the controller down and just looked at it for a bit.

Nothing touches the finale of that game right up until the very end with Starchild. Everything up to that moment is the most emotionally invested I have ever been in a video game.

Half-Life 2: Episode 2
When Eli dies.
It sums up the series perfectly. You always have a sense all hope is lost. The series ends perfectly imo.
