Elder Scrolls Online or Witcher 3?

This is my debate and was looking for some insight. I'm an Xbox 1 guy. My family plays a little Elder Scrolls and want me to join them on the European server. I loved Skyrim until I made it too easy and am curious as to how it will be online. I absolutely loved Witcher 2, and will definitely get 3, just didn't know if I should wait if I'm gonna tinker online, and what version I should get
I'll add that I never cared for online play much in the past, I don't always play well with others lol, but have played Diablo 3 with my sister(enjoyed it) and a few weeks ago began Destiny and really enjoy it.

Haven't played ESO, but the Witcher 3 will win GOTY. It's an amazing game that you will likely sink 100+ hours into.
It seems to me that you need to figure out how much you value playing with your family. If that's a big deal than I would go that route.

I suppose if you're wanting to play ESO, you might as well do it now while it's populated. Witcher 3 is a long game, and aside from the time commitment, you'll probably hate ESO if you play it after Witcher 3.

I appreciate all input. Yes, what you mentioned is pretty much what I was thinking. I feel like Witcher may occupy all of my time, and don't know if I could pull both at the same time all while still levelling my Destiny character( just now level 24).
Didn't know if ESO was worth it and if I go ahead and get it should I go all in with the biggest bundle?

I played the beta on PC and grew bored with it very quickly, but I'm assuming it's improved. I'm just not a big MMO fan because of the time factor.

Witcher 3 for you, sounds like a slam dunk. I thoroughly enjoyed that game. ESO came along so I put a pause on Witcher for now. I played PVP last night for the first time and it was so incredibly awesome.
When you and your buddies chase down a pack of players larger than your group and y'all take down the entire group like pigs at slaughter...it was glorious!

How's ESO for the PC? Sorry if this derails OT.

ESO isn't a well done MMO, and its about to go F2P on PC.
Get W3

Wonder if it will eventually go f2p on console. I want to check it out, but not enough to pay for it.

If you thought Skyrim was too easy, you are in for a shock if you get ESO.
this game is hard, i'm level 10, and smithing is very, very hard to level up.
I ended up doing one of the main quest type deals, where you go to different lands and have to get elder scrolls, and i got crushed by soldiers only 2 levels above.
u need to have a clan, and have people who love to do things, like smith, wood work, clothing, etc.
U have some one pumping out stuff u have a chance to live.

You have to retrieve Elder Scrolls in PVP in Cyrodil. Those guards weren't two levels above you. They're Veteran rank 12. Veteran ranks are after level 50. So yes you got demolished. But something hundreds of levels higher than you

I got both. I'm pretty much off the next month, so I'll make it work lol.

I also have the Witcher 3 it's okay. The world feels dead, lacks immersiveness that Elder Scrolls games have. Not a bad game but I stopped playing after a few weeks. ESO on the other hand I've already sunk 100+ hours into it, while working a full time job.
