The point is to have the BEST team, not the best class

But it's a video game after all so I get what you're saying

I absolutely hated the recruiting in 14. Other than that it was fun.

14 was the last one they made correct? I never played it but played 13, they helped recruiting a lot in that one IMO. I like recruiting but there were several years where it took more time to recruit every week than to actually play a game, thats not good IMO and I hated it. On 13 they had fixed that

It did and it was aggrevating that for every MLB prospect there were 50 WRs and ATHS who were really WRs

I liked the recruiting but you're right, they had way too many skill position players in the Top 50.

Recruiting in 14 was fricking awful. You would be leading with a kid by 1000 and lose him to new Mexico state or some shite.

Yupp. That last week was just a total guessing game. Nothing like recruiting as LSU and getting out recruited by ULM.

They tried to make the recruiting in 14 less time consuming, and they did, but they also made it so much worse.

Sounds close to the real thing the way guys could flip in the last few weeks. We see that all the time.

I liked where you didn't have to kiss everyone's arse all the time to get them to commit. Some recruits would show close to 100% interest no matter what, which is more realistic.

What got my blood boiling was the loading time between weeks in dynasty mode. It would take forever to sim from week 2 to week 3 and so forth

And if a player didn't instantly commit when you offered him, he wouldn't commit until after a campus visit.

But besides recruiting being awful, the short side read option and anything besides dime defense was broken as shite. Te's missog blocks on DE's really fricked up the option game.

Wildcat formation Jet counter.. Good for a TD at least once per game no matter the yard line you're on.. that was a broken play.

X Follow was another broken play. You read the safety and either hit the outside receiver running the post or the inside receiver running the 15 yard in route. Only way someone could consistently stop it is if they user control the LB or Nickelback and pick to guard the player the Safety decides not to cover.

Also hated how WR's couldn't block CB's...ever! I still play 15 too.

The biggest problem is that unless I am mistaken, the licensing landscape has changed dramatically in the downtime.

They can't just get NCAA licensing to get all the schools anymore. Conferences will want their cut directly.

Right, but name a school or conference that wouldn't want to be in the game? Schools want every advantage possible in recruiting. Recruits will want to play as themselves in the game. Can't do it if their school isn't in it.
