Are there any Kinect/Move titles that would even make the list?

Almost certain that Dance Central would make it and I think Sports Champions reviewed well...

Only two I can think of off the top of my head.

Edit: Just checked. Dance Central 1, 2, and 3 would all make the list. Kinectimals would barely make the top 50. No move games would make it.

Not surprising.

I really like the compiled info from the lists and the metacritic scores, but I don't understand what I'm supposed to be taking away from the graphs.

I own all 3 of these systems and this just confirms how I've felt about them. I recently told a friend, who's a huge Nintendo fan, that I think Sony has just slightly replaced Nintendo in the realm of must have exclusives.

However, as Nintendo has sometimes proven, having a bunch of established IP's can also lead to a development rut. I hope that doesn't happen with Sony. I'm afraid it already might be. Rumors of Uncharted 4 and God of War 4 do not excite me, as good as I think those franchises have been in the past. It'll be interesting to see what exclusives Microsoft comes up with for the Xbox One since they'll probably be establishing several new IP's this coming generation.

Thanks for posting this. It's cool seeing this data visually.

That's really not a fair comparison seeing as how most big Xbox games get a PC version since Microsoft is Microsoft.

Only when you don't make one of the IP's for nearly 2 years. Them going with an HD remake of WindWaker was just full retard.

Other than Gears of War 1, which games are you referring to?

I'm probably misunderstanding you but are you saying annually churning a new title in a series is good for a franchise? I think the annual COD and Assassin's Creed title has done more damage to those games than good from a game design perspective. I might be alone in this opinion, but they're feeling stale to me.

I know GTA is GTA but I think it does that series good having some space between each new title.

ETA: I would have preferred Nintendo launch a new Zelda game or update a different one, but I understand why they chose WW. It's a great game that still looks good today. Making it look extra good in HD didn't require nearly as much work as updating something like OOT or MM.

One important thing this graph doesn't take into account is timed exclusives. For a while there you could only get Braid, Limbo, Super Meat Boy and Mass Effect (just to name a few) on Xbox 360. 6 months to a year later and they're available on PC and PS3.

If this graph were more of a snapshot of specific periods in time it might look much different. As it stands now, though, there isn't much on 360 that you can't get elsewhere.

What are you talking about. The top 50 includes all 360/PC titles.

Only smaller one excludes PC releases, portable versions, etc.

I was wondering the same thing. Furthermore if he's talking about the second graph, I don't know of that many games that are both on the 360 and the PC but not on the PS3.

Gears of War 1 is the only game I know of off the top of my head that was published by MS and then ported to PC. Left 4 Dead never came out on PS3 but that has nothing to do with "MS being MS." That's Valve not liking the PS3 platform.

There might be plenty more examples. If so, I'd like to see them.
