Days Gone didn't say 2018.

I'm convinced that about 10% of the people on this board ever watched an E3 conference before 2015.

It'll be 2018. Was initially slated for 2017. But yeah, it wasn't officially announced as 2018.

I wish big companies wouldn't release any information at all on their upcoming games until E3. Imagine if we had no idea Star Wars battlefront 2 was even being worked on and they revealed the gameplay and everything at E3. Everyone would lose their fricking minds. It reminds me of when Nintendo unveiled that they had Twilight Princess in the works at the end of their press conference several years ago. Miyamoto came out weilding a master sword and shield and everyone went nuts. If they had more suprises like this I would be eager to watch it entirely. But unfortunately, nowadays they release trailers and details about everything the game has to offer before E3 so nothing really comes as a suprise.

in an always on, always present, internet society, that would be extremely stupid.

What games are we talking about today? That's right, the big ones, the biggest ones presented over the last 2 days. We talk about the God of Wars and Anthem but what about Dragon Ball Fighter Z or Steep (and if you aren't in the SoC culture... it's being completely ignored)? They get relegated to obscurity before they are even announced at e3. So if I want my game to make a splash and not get covered up by Farcry 5 and Assassin's Creed - I do not promote it only at e3... in fact, I might stay away from e3 all together.

Except for:
Uncharted Legacy (August 22)
Horizon Frozen Wilds (2017)
Days Gone (slipped from 2017 to 2018)
Monster Hunter (early 2018)
Shadow of the Colossus (2018)
Call of Duty (November 3)
God of War (early 2018)
Destiny 2 (September 6)
Spiderman (2018)

Will one or more slip to 2019? Probably. But let's keep the hyperbole to the SEC Rant and Poliboard.

This sounds like a great argument and all, but I would love to see this list revised in a few years with actual release dates...

From one Sony fanboy to another...we both know how this shite works.
