E3 officially sucks.

This is what lack of competition does. MS promotes their version of the new Xbone which won't sell, while Sony shows a few good games that won't be out for 2 years.

Horrible horrible horrible. Frick e3 and frick microsoft. Only game I want this year is destiny 2 and it'll prolly be short AF like the first.

Idk why people expected so much out of this E3. Everyone just blew their wads with releases. The great games that haven't been released yet have already been revealed. There's not much left to show for a while. I'm perfectly satisfied with a SotC remake. Not every E3 can randomly announce a FF VII remake and Shenmue 3.

I still like E3, but the people who watch want to feel like it was worth their time. No one expects their mind to be blown every year, but I think it's reasonable to expect more than what we got this year.

It just goes to show how far removed we are becoming from this "once a year" type announcement calendar... It pains me, but I wouldn't be surprised if we are a few years away from lots of it going the way of the dodo

It's set up for Nintendo to sweep up the show showing Odyssey and either a Metroid (prime spinoff would crush) or another one of their IPs.

That wouldn't even put their conference over MS though.
Every conference showed some great games, so Nintendo showing new Odyssey game is a bare minimum bar to not be 1/10.

This E3 has had Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Anthem, that Mario Rabbids thing, Far Cry 5, God of War, Mount and Blade 2, CoD: WWII, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, etc
