I SAY AGAIN ENDING SPOILERS!
The end gave me a little of the ME3 feel, I looked at all the stuff on the war board and didn't think I had gathered enough, but in the end it doesn't matter.
As a Rogue I rolled through the last half of the game with Cassandra sword/board tanking and Dorian/Vivienne.
Getting your dragon, I messed up and had a fire staff on one of my mages so I had to do it again but after that it wasn't bad. In tacticts i turned off skill that I knew were not going to land like fire spells and the warrior chain pull.
Final fight(s), with 12 potions I made it through at level 16 again with all the non essential spells turned off and the two resupply crates. It was a long fight but not really a nail biter. I was sad that there was no real reward to beating the game since you can keep playing.
DLC, hold crap they have at least 5-6 lined up just from the ending. I knew something was off with Solas, but didn't expect that. I'm guessing he might be the next Dragon Age foe.
I finished with 25/50 achievements.

I was 23 with all high level gear of dragons (got to kill 8/10) when I fought the boss. Was still pretty tough. I didn't love the ending but I didn't love the story in general. The new companions were hit or miss, but none of them meant as much as my companions in DA:O did. The thing that makes the game though is the sheer amount of content.

Pissed me off that those that you lose due to duty and Solas take off with their got damn gear, Cassandra was my tank and had the best tanking gear. Also no loot from the final fight sucks arse.

I just found this thread.
I LOVED the ending. The things you learned at the temple about how Tevinter did not conquer the elves, they basically just picked up pieces after the elves had destroyed themselves etc and then Solas and Flemeth basically being the Elven Pantheon is amazing.
I finished my first playthrough with 48/50 achievements. Just have NM and I have to drink the water in the temple myself left to do.
I felt the final battle could have been a lot harder, or at least scaled with level. And it blows that you don't get loot. It would have been nice to get another set of Dragon schematics that would carry over to next playthrough even if the effect was a cosmetic upgrade to something.
God your screenshots look amazing... I should have gotten it on PC

I think I was level 21 when I finished.
I also had no problem with the ending. Other than the Solas twist (which I really liked), it kind of went as I expected. I just can't bring myself to go all "Scruffy" on a video game ending. I've never seen one that left me completely satisfied, so I stopped expecting as much.
I only finish 5/10 dragons, and left quite a few areas untouched for this playthrough. And I'm still having alot of fun playing my 2nd go round. It's been a while since a game has kept my attention this long.

I finished my 2nd play through at level 23 with 53 hours, still a lot of stuff to do, I am currently shard hunting for the temple in the Oasis. I did all the companion stories and everything I could think that might get locked out after doing the final mission.
Just once I wish a game like this would design a battle where all your companion get to participated at the same time.

Something like the ME2 suicide mission would have been awesome.
I wish there had been more opportunities for companions to die. In ME2/ME3, every single companion from the entire series could die except for the blue bitch if you played your cards wrong. Something to up the tension.
I counted three twists in my playthrough, and they were all pretty heavy. The foreshadowing for "Blackwall's" confession was everywhere, but I didn't pick up on it. Morrigan had the God child in my playthrough, and her face when she saw Flemeth was priceless . The ending with Solas and the orb and being the Dread Wolf did feel like a setup for a fourth game, one that I'd definitely play.
Seriously, Vivienne as the Divine? frick that noise.

I didn't import my Origins and DA2 stuff so I missed out on some of that stuff. Cassandra got the Divine position and took off will my best tank gear.

Did anyone take Solas to the temple of Mythal? I wonder if he has good dialogue as you walk around considering its basically full of his statues

No I benched Solas on my play throughs he is a pain to listen to. Bull is funny, if you have viv and bull in the same group she makes him her bitch.

I think TIB (THE Iron Bull) is just awesome no matter who he's with.
At one point he told Cole they would get along well as long as he didn't do any weird shite. Of course Cole immediately went inside TIB's head and went through his whole emotional history... followed by
"Yeah weird shite like that"

After 120 hours I'm glad I can read this thread

Ending was far too easy. I mean real easy.
Sure I'm level 23 but I had a much tougher time with the last Empris dragon.
I didn't use a single potion on the Arch Dragon or Corphy. Well, I think I used a regeneration potion but no healing pots were needed.
Too damn easy. Oh and that was on HARD.
I'm glad the game goes on. I wonder if Solas is part of the DLC or the next enemy in the next game.
105 hours on my first toon that I didn't finish the story.
About 93 hours this time but I did lots of metal farming trying to get fade touched obsidian and silverite. Plus I gathered pretty much everything I could find.

Yeah the boss fight was disappointingly easy for me too. I fought bears that were more challenging

Took me longer to kill the Great Big arse Bear in Emerald Graves.
Glad I didn't waste even more time farming fade touched obsidian and silverite for the On Hit +3 Guard or +5 guard.
Because it wasn't needed.
Also, when you think about it, if The Big C could lift a castle into the sky then couldn't he have destroyed Skyhold from far away?
That ending was somewhat silly just to have an interesting set piece at the last fight.
Also, I think there should have been random attacks on Skyhold from the second we set foot in there.

It was anticlimactic, the attack on haven was waaaaaay better

Haven was fun for the non-stop flood of bad guys.
On Hard, I was out of pots and praying for the last wave.
It really is shocking how easy the final boss is. I guess that is a problem with the game not scaling the difficulty.
Although Corphy was lvl 23, he was just a weak arse lvl 23.
