I finish it out and even go through until i'm done clearing all the zones available. If I had to guess I've gotten 30% of my leg's after I've killed the guardian. My mirrorball came from a chest last night that was just behind the first portal (zone) after I killed the guardian in the previous.
Not sure how efficient this is in leg's per hour, but the increased drop rate makes me feel like i'm missing out if i just go to a new rift or back to bounties.

The only reason to do this is if you're short on rift key fragments and need to use them as efficiently as possible. Or, maybe if you're on one of the good rift floors like the A5 graveyard or the super jail - a floor that's really elite monster-dense.
Otherwise, you get the best "legs/hr" by closing the rift right after the boss and opening a new one. If you're gonna be killing demons after you finish a rift boss, you may as well be making progress towards the next boss. This maximizes the amount of blood shards you get.

Yes but blood shards are completely worthless in my experience. Kadala gives nothing but shite.

Got my mirrorball today with two extra missles. It is sick with a fire build.

I switched to the cold missiles with blizzard secondary with my mirrorball until I get more fire dmg and it's doing work so far
