Not at all. I think you have to be lv 15 to do the last couple of missions but they are all easy.
You actually automatically jump to lv 20 after beating the last mission.

This.
There were times where I would go and do some heroic public events just to do something different for 20 minutes or so. Those give about a 1/4 of a lvl or more depending on where you're at.

I just wanted to say I fricking hate those Cabal Public Events. And I hate opening shitloads of chests only to get fricking coins. No legendary or exotic engrams? frick you bungie, frick you.

There are a few of the public events that I don't like, but man, I starting one and then no one shows up.
I'm very glad I bought the game. I think I want to do a warlock next.

I hate doing them alone, then some scrub shows up late and gets an exotic after the event is over. The absolute worst.

I heard on a podcast that there is a way to unlock a Heroic version of those public events, like for one of them if you take out some generators a high value target will show up and drop some good stuff. Haven't looked into it yet.

Yeah when you're grinding public events, Heroic is the way to go. Way better drop rates. They're all pretty easy to turn in to.

Every public event can be triggered into making them a heroic.
Nothing worse than when a blueberry shows up and kills all the adds making it impossible to make one heroic.

To those having issues finding people in the event with you just fast travel away and go to the event again. It should put you in a new instance with another chance of players being there.

Archon's Forge in the RIO expansion for 1 was like that. I had to do this crouch sneak up to the area to try to find other people running it. Would hear the noise of a battle, get excited, then the room would open up and nothing. So much fun.
But yeah, it works.

Yepppp. I did that same thing. Each zone in a patrol is actually a different matchmaking instance and not the entire planet. If you are in a fire team you both will need to exit the instance for it to work though.

Anybody make it to 305 yet? I'm 302 on my Hunter and Warlock. My Titan is around 280. Gonna work on it tonight.

It makes plenty of sense if you don't have just a ton of time, especially in D1. This game probably not as much since gear has set rolls, but in D1, if you wanted to be the most efficient at getting desired gear, do multiple of the same class is the best way.
