without Halo's matchmaking system there is a strong chance I would be here today never having owned anything Xbox. I was a Sony guy around the time halo 2 came out but my buddies were telling me about the online play and it sounded AMAZING, like nothing i had ever seen before. I had to go buy a Xbox and halo 2 and the rest is history

I was never really a halo fan, maybe because I had played years of CS, quake, and unreal tournament on pc and it seemed like just another shooter. There's no denying the influence that the early games had on console development though.

Too little too late for MCC at this point. I've never seen actual population numbers, but I bet the drop from day 1 to now (8ish months) is absolutely insane.

I got MCC as my first game with the Xbone. I played it for maybe 1 hour total and haven't put it back in since.
