So far I like Demom's Souls more than Dark Souls. Never played Dark Souls II.

I don't even get the point of stats in Bloodborne. It has them because the Souls games do, so yeah, Souls RPGs harder than Bloodborne.
You'll have a good time with it. There's a ton of variety and builds you can do. People shite on them, but it has a couple of my favorite bosses in the whole franchise.

Got a much better feel for it tonight. It turns out the first fight with a fatty wasn't a good representation. One thing that does stick out is how fast weapons break in this game.

yea, I got it on PS4. My broadsword broke while going through the forest of giants so I switched to a broken straight sword

I did a dual broken sword run.
Broadsword has bad durability. It's a non issue for most weapons now.

Gotcha, that's just the weapon they started me with. I already found some fire sword that looks cool.

Also the idea of dual wielding never crossed my mind. I doubt my Knight would be good for that though.

Dual wielding is mostly a waste of time for pve, and you have to waste quite a few points to be able to power stance.
Fire longsword is good but scales off of int, faith or both. Straight swords are my favorite weapon class.

Example: to power stance two longswords, you'd need 15 str and 13 dex. You take the base requirement of a weapon and multiply it by 1.5.
It's honestly better for pvp, two-handing a weapon is better for just pve. The damage output isn't really that much more when dual wielding.

They shouldn't be degrading that fast at all, but you shouldn't be able to play online unless you have the latest update. It's a non issue now.
DS2 bosses aren't world beaters, they improve significantly in the dlc areas.
