Scarce video about it

Incredible and terrible. I know why they wouldn't state that they owned it, but it will do more harm than just stating they did if the news ever got out.

Now the tmart guy is saying he should have been more open about it on his twitter. Turrible.

I like the vid where he's walking around his huge house saying that he's not doing anything illegal.

Check if this summary is right:

To recap:

- You can random draw on CS:GO if you spend money buying random skins for weapons/equipment.
- The skins you win have varying dollar amounts depending on rarity
- You can use these skins to bet on CS:GO matches (any other thing?)
- You can sell your skins you win for credit in the Steam Store
- A youtuber has bet using this CS:GO system
- The youtuber is also sponsored by this system
- He is also part owner of the website that runs this system

Yeah part owner and the Damn creator. And was posting videos saying the site reached out to him and my sponsor him. Just bold faced lies. It's crazy how kids can essintially gamble through this system

You would think as part owner he could manipulate his winnings somewhat. That or he just spent hours placing quarters into his own slot machine until he got the footage he needed and that is where I wonder if this could get nasty.

He can, he has access to the percentage as an owner that he can alter and win every single pot if he wanted. Which is likely what he did to win that 13K pot.

Who knows how much else, and surely that is illegal.

thankfully there is a class action lawsuit in the first stages

valve can think their cute and have no hand in this mess, but they are solely responsible. the fact they allow u to link ur steam account to these sites, and let 10 year old kids gamble, will bring them to their knees. They could get crushed in court.

How can they be so stupid???

Arrogance.

This is one of the many reasons I loathe high profile youtubers. They receive ad revenue, countless donations, while hiding their earnings. This is blatant embezzlement and that little frick needs to be in jail.

Ummmm....not sure if it's embezzlement but it is fraud at the very least and they might be in breach of FL gambling laws where the company was formed. If they were smart, they would have incorporated out of the country like every other gambling site.

I am enjoying the downfall of these two. Most of these youtubers have grown up without realizing things they do or say may have repercussions. They think they can either lie or crawfish out of trouble.

If only we had a true youtube hero. RIP IXISweat, he's the hero Youtube needs, but not the one it deserves right now.

Off the top of my head the DoJ and FTC would probably both have jurisdiction to prosecute him. Not to mention a class action.

Let me make a video wandering a big arse house on a lake, this will show them that I'm not blatantly ripping people off to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In case there was any lingering doubt about the illegality of promoting a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive item gambling site without disclosing ownership, Video Game Attorney Ryan Morrison has cleared that up.

Morrison, of the firm MorrisonLee, has been answering questions on twitter about the activities of Trevor ‘TmarTn’ Martin and Tom ‘ProSyndicate’ Cassell. On the matter of whether their failure to disclose ownership of the site CSGOLotto while promoting it was merely ‘unethical’ or outright illegal, Morrison has no hesitation.

“It’s definitely illegal, and definitely reported to the FTC”, he writes. The FTC is the US Federal Trade Commission, whose guidelines Martin and Cassell have broken in all kinds of different ways.

Csgolotto bots are supposed to be middlemen during bets. Everyone contributing to the pot trade all their skins to the bot, who is then supposed to trade the accumulated skins to whoever won the pot. Him having access to the bot account means he was essentially both bookie and player.

So I'm just gonna open up myyyyyyyyy.......... frick... trade offers?
