My place appears to be in the zoning for Fiber. I live near downtown, but Google is still taking into account the surveys and whatnot where they will offer it. It won't be completely city-wide, so I'm told.

Sweet, I am paying $70 for gigabit without Google. It's not the deal it was anymore.
I don't get close to gigabit speeds with gigabit. I stay around the 400 up/300 down mostly. Everyone else needs to upgrade so I can be faster.
