They are worth more, also look at their talents you may want to keep and lvl a duplicate because he has a better talent. Once you get either your orb thingy, mortar, or archer tower to lvl 10 you can garrison hero's inside to improve the function of that defensive unit.

Yup you can put 3 hero's inside and depending on their level can increase the strength or function of that defensive unit. So putting in a lvl 60 vs a lvl 20is wiser because it makes the defense stronger

dont know, but surely it exists.
im having a hard time deciding right now whether i want to bring my succubus and pumpkin past 80 or save to get my druid past 100.
the druid will be there in the next week or so but the others will be ready probably tomorrow.
im also 1 level TH (after the current one finishes) away from the 5th tower!!!

i want to beat E on the blue portal.
i can get to E5
when i beat D, it is usually around 16k xp with 25 shards.
i stil usually just do C because i beat it everytime.

Received 500 free gems last night 
Rolled for the 3 heroes and got another thunder god, my first triton, and an angel. Wish they let you use multiple of the same hero to raid with. Two thunder gods would do work

I've spent $20 so far on this game, but used those gems on 5 builders. I've used the rest of the gems I've been able to acquire on the 3 hero roll. Not real sure how many gems I've went through doing that though. Over 5000 for sure. Gotta love receiving free gems. Though I wouldn't be surprised if I spent more $ on gems the next time they do all the gem packages +20% .

Not that is has been proven but there's a top 100 Castle clash guy who youtubes, he says the game is "streaky" and his suggestion is to wait to spend gems until you make some dungeon runs and that if you roll for a character after you hit a dungeon run for shards you are more likely to get a legendary.
No idea if that's true or not, but thought I'd share it certainly won't hurt.
