This is the most frustrating thing about the entire ordeal. I'm just going to blow it all in the morning and then wait until the next day to go through it all again. It's definitely not something that is meant to keep you engaged for a long period of time (without using gems of course).

Same here, I fight them once, see what their lineup is, and then put my Atlanticore (sp?) up front to tank and BOOM, winner winner chicken dinner.
I also like that this update actually gives me something to spend mana on, that was much needed.

I was so used to being able to do the 'donate mana' quest no problem, that yesterday I tapped it but didn't have enough. The buy mana with gems box popped up and I accidentally hit that motherfricker. I didn't see exactly how many gems it cost me, but I think it was 220-something.

They give you the 1st one uncontested, but when I opened up the 2nd one it was already under someone else's control.
