W@W on veteran was impossible. I'd even say that it may be the hardest of all of them.

COD2 and W@W were about equally as hard. Both were the hardest in the series.
I may have to give the edge to COD2, but I succinctly remember one specific spot I struggled in W@W. However I think overall COD2 was more difficult.

i thought COD2 was loads harder than W@W. although i can remember being in cover on W@W and being bombarded with literally 6 or 7 grenades at once

I found COD2 to be much harder than W@W on vet...but that's just me

COD2 is the epitome of being bombarded by several pin-point grenades but not being able to move up because of the infinitely spawning enemies in front of you. It feels like half the game is full of those moments, I probably stopped like 3/4 of the way through the campaign because of that.

The infinite grenade spamming of the computer on W@W made it fricking frustrating as hell. I did beat it though and it was satisfying.
