Loving the 3rd person aspect. Didn't notice it in the beta. Brings backs that Socom feel. Wouldn't be enjoying it as much if there was no 3rd person.

Mostly playing the TDM mode. Lots of maps all which are beautiful.

Fallout is pretty meh for me thus far, but as for Battlefront, I don't typically play a lot of competitive FPS. I die a lot, but I'm having a good time in Battlefront.

That's my problem. Really wanted it, but I'm too engrossed in fallout right now to justify the battlefront purchase

Fallout gets very frustrating for me. Some of the missions and levels are too long. I'm surviving on radroach meat and my worst guns. I can get by but I get annoyed.

I prioritized Battlefront over Fallout, because most online multiplayer games have a limited shelf life, especially on PC. The game may very well be a wasteland in 2 months. On other hand, Fallout 4 will be even better in 2 months with more mods.

That's the thing. It won't be any fun later on without a single player campaign

Halo/CoD/Battlefield campaigns are like 5-6 hours long. Tons of players buy these games just to jump straight into the multiplayer anyway.

I wish EA had expanded on the single player, but I'm not upset over the lack of a forgettable campaign that I could play through in a day or two.

All multiplayer FPS games get old for me after a few hours.

Anyone have tips for getting the final star on the missions? Specifically the "Win before the other guys hit 40" one. On PC if that matters.

I played as the Empire on Endor for the first time tonight, and it's worse then most horror games. Being a lumbering scrub running around in shiny white armor going against an enemy who spawns in the fricking trees and is covered in camo that blends perfectly with the surroundings. If I wasn't getting killed by a fricking bush I would literally walk over a Rebel in prone and would immediately get melee'd. I ended up 4/16.

Interesting.

Is there a graphic for this or data that back it up?

Thanks.

I picked up the battlefront PS4 bundle because the uncharted was sold out but I don't know if I wanna keep my Battlefront code or try to sell it. I played the beta on PC and it was fun but seems like it would get old quick.

Maybe, just going by my own experience though. Happens with COD every year, happened with Titanfall too. It's not as if it gets completely abandoned, but what happens first is the population declines to a point that only a couple of game modes have enough players for a match, and then it gets to a point where you're more frequently getting matched with people far away (Peru, Mexico, or even Europe), and eventually you can only find matches during peak gaming hours.

For CoD, isn't that because they release a new one every year? I would expect the current year's CoD to stay active until the new one is released although I guess that isn't always the case.

Still, outside of games like Halo, Battlefield, and Call of Duty, it can be hard to develop a multiplayer FPS with any degree of longevity. Titanfall was even developed by ex-CoD devs but really didn't have much staying power at all.

My favorite thing about this game is spawning right next to a freshly thrown thermal grenade or proximity mine. I loved the little safe areas in the previous Battlefront games to spawn into (and the different classes...and conquest mode and...

I didn't like the different classes. Like being able to custom outfit my player however I want without being limited to weapons that fall into a certain class.

And Walker Assualt is almost identically to conquest with a Star Wars flavor to it.

Isn't supremacy even more identical to conquest?

Which is why I bought it to play on my potato box. More people so it's less likely to be abandoned as fast.
