I’m sure this game is fun and all, I’m actually 95% positive I would love it and this isn’t taking shots at those playing or are having fun, we all have to make choices and take our fun where we can and make stands otherwise but I just can’t support this message essentially behind this games veneer no matter how fun I will have to pay full price. If it ever comes to ps plus I’ll go hard at it. Again I’m not taking shots at anyone or saying anyone is wrong we all have to just make our stands where we do and choose our fun where we do.
All that said I’m very happy it seems most of you are enjoying your time with it

id rather pay full price for games like this than the alternative that's getting more popular which is game pass type games that lack any soul, are rushed garbage, and/or full of microtransaction BS.

nope it definitely tracks for his character. i actually like Gale a lot. he's one of my favorite characters.

If you say so. I’m not saying it doesn’t and the game didn’t write it in properly as I clearly have not played it. If they did do that then more power to them and at least they’re good at they’re jobs while being degenerates lol

Okay I am frustrated at this point. I am a paladin and had to fight my way out of a goblin camp. I was unable to fast travel out(wtf?) and so I called the trolls using the horn. We barely all won the fight then I got the message that I had broken my oath. What did I do wrong?

I was considering re-specing to a paladin, but maybe I shouldn’t. I’ve done some shady-arse stuff with my Drow warlock, so I probably wouldn’t last long if you can break your oath that quickly ??.

I finally decided to try this game out to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say, I should have listened to myself.
The game is just Divinity 2 under a D&D mask. It's a fine game for hardcore CRPG fans, but to say this game is in any way deserving of game of the year or is one of the greatest games of all time is absolutely laughable. In no way shape or form would I recommend this game to anyone just looking for a fun role playing experience

Larian makes games with the most tactical gameplay/fighting around, no shite you wouldn't recommend it to someone just wanting a fun RP experience.

Not that I’m against it or anything but I did NOT just let Lae’zel and shadowhart brawl in an attempt to figure out which one was worthy of being my main girl only for every one to think me and Gale were having magical butt sex.

I did the magic thing with him too. I thought "cool, he's teaching me magic and it's going to open up new spells for my bard". I was wrong, he was only wanting to open up my booty-hole. It was only after that when you find out he considered it damned near a sexual encounter.

I think he's talking about either the homosexual messaging throughout the game or the over-sexualization of it. I think the term "incel" is silly, but the amount of sex and sex-related things in this game makes me think the vast majority of coders making this are indeed incels.
The game is fun, but damn... I actually have to work to not get my butthole raped by Gale or Halsin as they seem to take any positive response as potential to rub wieners (I don't even give Astarion a chance because he's already projecting).
And then the work to include the ability to swap genitals and choose from genital hair density while not having any ability to vary height or weight and locking color choices... the choices seem rather odd unless you allow for messaging.
