Steelseries has a huge sale for 30% off their products, I just picked up the 6GV2 Keyboard for gaming. Anyone else made the jump?

Mechanical keyboards are hands-down the best keyboard for gaming. I have a Black Widow Ultimate and will not go back to a non-mechanical keyboard again.
Razer doesn't make a Lachesis keyboard unless you mean the Razer Lycosa which is not mechanical.
You might feel some finger fatigue if you game/type for awhile. For the first week I had my Black Widow (Cherry MX Blues), my fingers would get tired if I was gaming for 2-3 hours at one time but it quickly wore off.

I have an old school Deck. It's pretty amazing. Really thick plastic casing, diamond plate back.

For most people it's all about the feel. With the keyboard you're typing on right now you've got to press the key all the way down to the bottom to get it to register. This wastes a lot of energy and causes fatigue, as most of your effort is spent pushing against a solid piece of plastic. Mechanical keyswitches are designed so that they register before you bottom out, so you only need to apply as much force as is necessary to actuate it, not wasting any. And with as many different types of switches as there are you can pick and choose which one you're the most comfortable with, as each one has a different feel to it. And most people who try one can never go back to using rubber domes, as they realize just how "mushy" they really feel.
How lazy are you assholes?

I look at it like this. You can go buy the most expensive golf clubs available and tiger woods is still going to heat you even if he has a cheap set of wal mart clubs.

I doubt it's about being lazy and more about being efficient as I heard from people who use it for work/gaming.
