One if the best civs to date.
Really wish Sid would go back and tweak some of the problems and rerelease it with updated graphics and expanded gameplay.

You can still find it on ebay.

I have the Civ Chronicles package. Civ 2 is my favorite.

I loved starting out on small continents, then just terraforming until it was to my liking.
Mag tubes were way overpowered, IMO

I wished there was a weather machine in those games.
Nothing like being able to control natural disasters.
And think of the terraforming applications

I'm with you. I loved that game more than any other Civ. Since I don't have a gaming computer anymore, I wish for a re-release on console.

It is phenomenal.
You get to design your units.
You can actually change the landscape.
It's uber awesome

That being said given some of the rereleases lately...maybe its just best that he doesnt touch this one.

True.
But if he would mix the best of civ 4 and AC?
That would be epic

One of the best things about Civ is the customization. You can create your own units, tweak some of the algorithms, etc. In II you can even edit the mk.dll file and change the leader portraits.
