If so, do you play online? Voobly or Steam?
Who is your favorite civ to play with and why?
Been playing recently. Loving the new Forgotten Empires expansion.
Favorite civ - Probably the Spanish because of Conquistadors and Paladins

I have it on steam. Have occasional lag issues when playing multiplayer but it's fun as hell

Really?!?! AOE 2 is such a timeless classic. Don't get me wrong, 3 is an awesome game with great graphics, but it just doesn't have the flow that AOE 2 has.

Have it on steam but actually haven't put much time on it. I used to play the shite out of it in high school. I'd be down to play with some GBers as long as no one wants to be gay with the Persian War Elephant spamming

I played aoe2 and the expansion 24/7 as a kid when it was on msn zone or whatever...I was fully addicted. I loved the celtics for the siege or the franks for the stronger paladins

Dude yes. The Zone was the tits. I remember the custom scenario matches like Germz Blood and Castle Blood. So much fricking fun.

Black Forest was a fun map because you could focus on fighting instead of throwing up defenses everywhere.

AOE2 is a classic.
Black Forest all the way when we'd do LAN matches at a friend if mines. I switched back and forth between the Saracens and the Huns.
