Accuracy Stats on Battlelog

I was looking at my stats on Battlelog and it says that my accuracy is at 8.9%. The only weapon that I've used that is even close to being that shitty is the M9 at 10.2%. Does the total accuracy factor in vehicles or what?
Its bugging the hell out of me that I'm not at least in the mid teens.

I was riding shotgun on a tank in a game and a guy told me to stop firing when no enemies are around, it was annoying him. I fire at random shite.

My accuracy is terrible. I use the M249 with extended mags. 200 rounds per magazine means I'm holding that trigger down. Plus I shoot at helicopters a lot. I've actually killed the pilot of a helicopter and a few gunners from doing so.

Has to. I'm at like 12% and I only randomly fire in vehicles.

My accuracy is like 14%.. I'd like to think that with rifles I'm more accurate than that.

Ever since I switched to the shotgun, my accuracy went from 7 to 11%...but then last night it took a nosedive because I spent an entire match in a jeep, then as a tank machine-gunner, then back to a jeep gunner. Probably hit about .5 percent of my shots because I was just spraying shite everywhere
