Don't think so. I've never asked about OC'ing. Maybe the temperature issue, but not overclocking.

I was referring to the temperatures. Didn't you have witcher bsod issues before?

Turns out that was a faulty driver. I got rid of that driver like 3 months ago and haven't blue screened since.

Yeah I don't have cooling issues with my GPU. It's my CPU that gets hot as hell.

The 3570K is running hot? Like how hot, what are the temps?

When you bench set ALL case fans to 100% and pull the side panel of. If pulling the side panel takes more than 2 thumb screws, than screw it but it can help.

All done. I keep my side panel off. Last time I benchmarked my CPU hit 81c. I've seen it hit 90 while playing high res games.

So you have a 690 but no clue what anything else is?

You also ran 3DMark, you need to run the older 3DMark 11. Its easier and quicker to run than the new one

Vood - New Entry. I can tell you that I have 24 gigs of ram, but I have no clue about overclocking anything. I wanted the best videocard made at the time to play BioShock Infinite so I got a 690.

Your motherboard is an ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3, and it appears you have 32GB of RAM, not 24. Did you build this?

Yes I did, but once I put the parts in I didn't really pay attention to what I have.

Can my motherboard take one a new processor? I want a faster CPU so my score will be higher.

Your motherboard likely has the bios for a 3770k, but the improvement would be so marginal that it's not even close to worth it. Plus, the CPU doesn't contribute to the 3dmark score nearly as much as your GPU(s).

A 2600K overclocks extremely well, though. The last non-enthusiast chip to use a soldered IHS. 4.8-5.0GHz is practically guaranteed if you have the proper cooling.

Is the stock fan proper cooling? I bought one of those water cooling kits in the past but sent it back because I was just to lazy to take out the motherboard again and install the bracket on the bottom of the CPU mount.

If you have a decent case, you won't have to take out the mobo to put on the cooler
