Dox - to publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the internet, typically with malicious intent.

I ignored it the first 3x you did if you schmuck. Cut it out & keep your gossiping between your buddies

My version of a double. At least 3 times per week during COVID. Only drink one, but it lasts a while.

It doesn’t bug me that you know who I am. I am long past that. It bugs me that you think it’s ok to post my personal information (see definition: identifying information) on this site, especially as some type of veiled threat.

OP, try this easy variation.
Use your recipe (I think it’s damn bear perfect) but smear the inside of your glass with Steen’s syrup instead of simple. A subtle but very distinct taste difference.

i like to muddle some of the black cherries in mine(ive tried several different brands and they all taste the same)...if i really want to switch it up ill do some chocolate bitters instead of orange.

Ignoring Lester and t00f's fight...

I find simple syrup absolutely makes a difference.

Homemade SS - mixed results

Pat O's SS (rouses, everywhere)- Gives a very artificial aftertaste.

Master of Mixes Old Fashioned mixer (everywhere)- Straight garbage. Do not buy.

Barsmith Old Fashioned - (total wine) at $4.49 it's the best bang for the buck. Nothing wrong with it.

Syrop de Saizon - (rouses)at $13/bottle it's damn near the price of a bottle of Bullett. It's the best of the bunch though. A little bit goes a long way.

I don't know if you guys have noticed this, but I see a huge difference shaking the cocktails and straining it into the glass vs stirring. Maybe I just like them super cold.

I like mine with knob creek small batch bourbon, angostura bitters, simple syrup, and orange and cherry muddle. I do not muddle the orange peel as it seems to make it bitter and I prefer the luxxardo cherries that you can buy at Alexander’s.

Keep it simple for me.
Muddle sugar cube soaked in bitters, whiskey of your choice, stir to chill and dilute, strain over fresh ice, orange peel.

Overly sweet and addition of fruit (other than citrus peel) grinds my gears.

Master of Mixes Old Fashion mix. Bourbon in the amount of your choosing. Mix and pour into glass. Garnish or don’t.

Find recliner, tune into final round of PGA weekly televised golf match. Put dog in lap or at feet (or don’t). Recline. Enjoy.

Perfect.
