Per capita it is.

Having lived in both, and still having family in both, I feel completely confident in that.
I agree per capita. But if you had to take an alien and show him the 10 best meals of his little alien life, you are heading up to NYC

Here are the criteria.

I can see how NOLA is ranked higher.

"Then, we ranked ‘em based on their finest establishments, their signature contributions & traditions vis-a-vis national cuisine, and the strength of their dining cultures."

Got a shrimp Po Boy here in nashville the other day. Tasted the same as every other damn shrimp Po Boy I have ever had. Got a little frisky during lent last year up here and ordered their etouffee, almost went back in the kitchen and kicked the chefs arse

I just refuse to bite on this one. That hook is so shiny, but I won't do it.

Because NYC's contributions aren't of a food or food culture of their own. It is full of different things and lots of it. Melting pot...it is known for the place with some top tier joints (its a super giant rich city) and a ton of other shite which is great and all.

But New Orleans has a much more concrete food culture to call their own that has been made famous.

Why do you think this is a troll. I admit NOLA is the best per capita food city in the country, I admit that Louisiana dishes cant be replicated. But I dont see the specialty of the Po Boy besides the name itself. I compare it to the beignet. The specialty is in the name itself

Possibly not but NOLA is a bit more blue collar and definitely less uppity.

I'd agree with the po boy argument, although you're not going to get as good of seafood for the po boy once you get off the coast.

Both. Mostly the beer, but a girl's gotta eat, right?

The scenery would be lagniappe.
