I got some fresh peeled crawfish tails that I brought home last night. I was planning on cooking an étouffée this weekend. However, I forgot them in my car until this morning. I got home at about 8:00 last night and put them in the refrigerator this morning at about 8:00. Does anyone think they're still good or should I throw them out? Thanks in advance

Cooked seafood in a car for 12 hours?

I'd pass on the vomiting and raging diarrhea.

If you're the only one eating it and have nothing else to do this weekend, go for it. Don't use them if you are going to serve it to other people and possibly give them the raging shits.

Keep them in your car and when you see some bum begging for money pass them on to him

My cousin did that one time and the beggar he gave the rancid crawfish tails too ate them and died. But hey some people don't mind doing 24 to life on a 2nd degree murder beef.

What do they smell like??

The main question is how long were they in the temperature danger zone 40-140 deg?
