Find out where any beer is distributed.Or, you can click on the state and it will tell you which beers are sold in that state.

You're all wrong. They sell it at Tony's Liquor on Line Avenue in Shreveport

they do?

I've never seen it at Tonys...although I've never really looked for it either

either way, it would be illegal for Tonys to sell it...

i've always been under the impression they don't sell it west of the Mississippi. I do really like it when in Florida, which is the only state i've been to since drinking age.

i'm a fan. There are other beers i'd drink on any ocassion, but for an everyday beer it beats the heck out of bud, miller, or coors.

From their website:

If the demand is present, why won’t Yuengling enter more states?

Yuengling is a regional brewery that has manufacturing facilities in Pottsville PA and Tampa FL. It simply is not logistically feasible to transport beer outside of our current footprint.

Yuengling is proud to have had ongoing expansions over the past years. The current focus is on those loyal customers that we currently supply. Continuing to provide quality beer and service to meet the existing demand is what the Yuengling family values above growing territory.

Currently, they are looking to do MS. They were trying to skip MS and come to LA but nixed that idea. I like the beer but I would drink it as my Bud Light if it was here.

I talked with the head distributor at the LSU Penn St. game and he said the owners do not want to expand distribution since the brewery was at capacity for its current demand.

he also said there were talkes building another brewery or expanding but even at that time it was only talks.

The father doesn't want to expand but the daughters do. They have been working on expanding their capacity for some time now. Not sure where they are at but it has been going on for at least two years.

They're expanding the Tampa one a little over 40%. They may consider reaching out after that is finished I would think.

my company is at a critical mass situation right now. we can either keep at the current pace and make the same amount of money every year, or pony up and the hire the staff to grow our business. We just decided to grow our business and hire the staff to accommodate. Literally just had this call an hour ago and we all feel better knowing that we're going to be able to reach a broader mass.

WTF is their kind of approach? if you're maxing out your ability to meet current demands, that's the perfect time to start expanding.

I honestly don't know what there market is...?

they aren't craft beer, but they don't have the market of BMC

do they exist solely for those they don't want to drink BMC, but haven't dived fully into craft beer yet? because that market seems to be getting smaller and smaller by the day

The guy was a nice guy. Met A penn state fan under a tree during the rain and was talking with him. Turned out the guy played for Penn state and then the Bears and someone else. I talked with him about the beer and he said his buddy was the head distributor and was on his way. He came and we talked then the head brewmaster met up with them and i got to meet him.

They're a well known regional beer and have a solid market share for what they do. To expand too quickly would take massive investments. You have to pay each state usually, tax stamps, licenses, etc. Then you have the issue of supply as well as advertising. I like and applaud their slow and methodical approach.

I wouldn't be chomping at the bit to go against Abita in La. or Shiner, etc in Tx. It would take a lot to get loyalty in those states as a whole.

It definitely benefits them marketing-wise. Look at how people talk about the beer just because they can't get it. It really isn't that great and their are much better beers out there. That being said, I love to knock a few back when I can. They also benefit from not Boston Marketing themselves. You don't want the army to outpace the supply line. My company is very slow but I can point to a rival that went too fast and are suffering the consequences.

Yuengling is good stuff. I first had it at Chimes. He said it was a keg shipped to the wrong place. Lucky me...

The beer snobs on here are funny. Yuengling is maxing out profits at their facility but people on here bash it. I assume the higher ups of Yuengling haven't been informed of how bad their product is?

A real beer connoisseur wouldn't waste time drinking a PBR...to reference an earlier post.

When it gets to Louisiana it will start a fresh life cycle. Go up to Philly and you won't find many locals drinking that or Yards. It isn't that it is bad it has just been around for awhile. Sam Adams is going through the same thing.
