I had some on draft while in orange beach not long ago and thought it was decent considering it was cheap. I can't find it anywhere in the state though.

Because they do not distribute here. It's crap anyway.

OK, maybe not crap, but excluding the historical part, extremely overrated.

Because Yuengling doesn't distribute their beer to Louisiana.

Not sure how, but the Station has it in a bottle. The only place in Louisiana I've ever seen it.

I seem to remember finding it at grocery stores when I was in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. Now that I think about it, I don't remember ever finding it in bars or restaurants though.

Did you ever watch "Smokey and the Bandit"? Same deal, different beer.

Where in Baton Rouge did you buy it from and how long ago was this? I've never seen Yuengling in BR.

Nowhere west of Mississippi currently i think.

Yuengling is by far the best "cheap" beer.

Yuengling is truly overrated. Eventually it'll hit Louisiana like it did Georgia and everyone will lose their mind for a while. Then you'll realize it's just another serviceable beer. Nothing bad to say about it, just over hyped.

Yuengling Light on the other hand is a complete and total shite beer. One of the worst available.

Only good if drinking it with a lime.
