A better question is why Popeyes tenders are so dry and nasty

Cane's has been dong the same ONE thing for 30 years now. It works for them and their customers. Todd isn't ever going to change that.

the less you do the more efficient you can be

yeah but they marinate their chicken fingers for 24 hours..........in what i assume is just plain water.

I don't understand why they dont' season them at all either. Without the sauce they are terrible.

Wife and I stopped at Blue Store a few weeks back. Read about that place on here but had never been.

That was some good shite. If you’re in any of the BR areas with one of those locations nearby and have the urge for chicken fingers, I don’t know why in the hell someone would opt going to Canes instead.

Baileys was still there when the Lee Dr Canes was opened for a few years. Think the Baileys turned into a CVS around 2002.

Baileys was awesome. Bigger fingers, better toast, better fries.

They are marinated in salt and msg. The flour has poultry seasoning, salt, and something else if I remember correctly.

It's done that way because the sauce is the seasoning.

Place is so overrated but every time I drive by one it’s full. I don’t understand it. Other than the service it’s nothing special

For those that have an off the hook in your area, the tenders are at least 3x bigger, fries, hush puppies, sauce - much better ,cheaper

I'm fine with them not being seasoned. To me they are perfection other than the size being on the smaller end sometimes

They are almost inedible without the sauce.

Maybe a marketing ploy to make you buy extra sauce??

They are a sauce delivery system.

Has your daughter tried Guthrie's in Auburn? I haven't eaten at one in probably over 40 years at the one in Athens.

Probably worth a visit at least for historical purposes since Guthrie's is where Todd Graves learned the trade while he was a student at UGA.
