Will it fail because the discerning, sophisticated shoppers in Laffy realize they can buy the equivalent cheaper at gas stations or in little stores in Broussard, Scott and Carencro?

If it was only cool to still say "Germans".

They are going to stick the nail in the coffin for Fresh Market. I'm excited and I think it's safe to say Target will take a hit as well. River Ranch housewives are going to flock in droves.

The one in Katy has a bar with a great small selection of drafts and wines.

My sister told me about that the other day.... why put it there? I mean i understand the amount of traffic flow right there, but shite with target and fresh market right there that is a lot of competition.

Will be excited if they put one in LC. There isn't really a grocery store worth a damn from what I've seen since moving here.

Damn straight. The boudin won't be nearly as good as at the Best Stop. Plus, I don't think they carry Community Coffee, they only carry this fancy stuff from other parts of the world. Their roux in a jar sucks too. There's no peanut butter in it.

I think it's a great location. Entry from Settlers Trace makes it acceptable. I have no facts, but I've heard that Fresh Market has been struggling for some time. I think you can stick a fork in them.

I didn't realize there were enough homosexuals in Lafayette to support a Whole Foods...

Just playing, unless you believe the clientele of the South Tampa Whole Foods is representative of their entire customer base.
