We have one here in Savannah, but I have never been. Was curious how the atmosphere and prices are. Also wondering if they serve food and how it is. THinking about checking it out this weekend. TIA

We have one in Katy, not far from my house. Have been a few times. Reasonable tap list, prices are ok. The one here does appetizers, but lets you bring food from restaurants nearby.

There is one about to open in Metairie. I'm looking forward to trying it and seeing if they can be legit competition for Lagers when I'm drinking out that way.

The one in Sugar Land is not that great, kind of reminds me of BWW on the inside. In Sugar Land, Flying Saucer > World of Beer

If you like a corporate/chain atmosphere, you will love it. If it was the only near by option, I would go.

I think these places just have too many always available taps and not enough rotating taps. Give me 20 rotating taps that are always fresh and always changing over 100 taps, any day.

Makes choosing a beer easier, too. When you have 100 tap handles to look at, I always see the beer I really want AFTER I've ordered something else...

Others have summed it up pretty good. Very cookie cutter and Corporate feeling. The selection varies widely from one State to the next based on what distro they get.

The FL locations do sell bottles to go and some do growler fills as well.

Went to one in DC. I really liked it. They had an iPad to show all the beers they have and it have you lots of info about each beer. You could search and sort based on whatever criteria you want. Very cool.

I thought it would be cool just to be able to try a certain beer you had heard about.

Very corporate feeling, lots of stainless, etc. The one in Tempe was out of my first three selections, which really sucked because picking 4 beers from a list of 400 is just a titch difficult.

Same is true with the one in downtown Birmingham. I've been twice and it was pretty empty both times. The wall of taps does look sweet though.

How I felt as well. The two I've been to in Tampa were both solid but if you're in a state that has crappy beer distribution then they place can be kinda stale.

Hell, I'm excited about it. I'll never have to hit up that shithole Avenue Pub anymore.

So what sucks so bad about them? Is it just that bad of an atmosphere? I would think it is not the selection.

The one here has live bands, trivia nights, etc.
