There was a thread about this place a while back.

The snowballs next door are better than the wings.

And yes, the snowball stand had some nice scenery last time I was there.

The hours at Teddy's are shitty though. Love me some teddy when he is drunk spinning in the dm booth, that's is one nasty mofo.

Wing Snack sucks. Would be a great hidden gem if theywere good, they're just not.

The snowball stand next door is the best display of racial diversity in Baton Rouge. There is some scenery, but nothing to write an article on.

Wing Stop is the worst EvAr, FWIW

I like Pluckers, and recently had Mason's and really liked them. You have to get extra sauce though, because they are light on the sauce out of the kitchen. I was warned of this prior and it worked out perfect.

I've always like Hooters when they've got enough spicy sauce and are good crunchy, breaded fried. BR location is pretty consistent. I ate at one in Katy where whomever prepared them did a horrible job.

Tell them to check their grease and how long they leave their wings breaded. I don't let my cooks bread until an hour before we open and I don't let them leave it breaded for more than 5 hours. Too long and you get that really thick shite on there.

TJ Ribs should should not even be considered with these amateurs.

Comparing TJ's wings to the rest are like comparing a prime ribeye to flank steak.

Make sure you get "sauce on side".

Why does everyone keep saying sauce on the side?

I'd recommend just getting fried wings with the sauce on the side to avoid making a huge mess of yourself.

That's half of the fun

I disagree. Wing Stop's Cajun flavor is superb. Otherwise, I agree.

When you order the Wing's TJ's default is to serve them covered in wing sauce. Because the Wing's are smoked...and then flash fried when you order them to get them hot for serving. This flash frying makes the outside of the Wing's nice and crispy. If you get "sauce on side" they stay crispy the whole time you eat them.

If you get the default with the sauce on it...it loses the crispy goodness after you finish the first wing.

If you don't like crispy wings...then I recommend getting the Wing's grilled...not friend. Sauce on side of course.
