This always confuses me too. I guess I can understand if someone is a huge beer conisure and maybe only drinks imports and such saying they don't like Abita.
For people who just like bud/coors/miller to say so just leads me to believe maybe they should just say they don't like dark beers period.

Throughout the year there are 8-10 different Abita products that are put out on the market and I find it hard to believe that Abita is doing something so dreadfully wrong in their processes that an average beer drinker could not find one they like.

Reminds me of my lite beer drinking cousins assessment recently that Abita sucks. I knew him to not be much into trying many different beers, so I asked him how many he had tried and why did they suck. He admitted to only trying turbo dog. If you drink only lite beer and you jump straight into a turbo dog, of course you are going to think it sucks.

i pick up abita beers wherever i can find them out here. partly because they remind me of home, and partly because i like the taste. i agree with the one guy who disliked abita amber. it's way too sweet or caramely for my taste. but most of the other abitas i enjoy.
