When were OC10 bottles embossed like this? I have some that are just smooth and some that are embossed.

FPD- this stuff is really good. No alcohol on the nose and very little burn for 60%. I'll be getting more of this.

Not too sure about the charter bottles. My only ten yr has the same pattern as yours.

Guess I need a bottle of the Knob Creek.

Eta: Fill that glass up BAW!

Probably nothing different. Just a different bottle. Yea man this Calandros knob creek is going down way too easy. This is the one Fred Noe picked from his private stash for them.

I can't get on your pour quantity level

Yep, they picked 2 and Mr Noe picked the 3rd for them from his stash. Its a 10yr as opposite to the standard 9. Maybe since they wanted to buy so much they offered that to them...idk. Its good though

So they have 3 different barrels to choose from? I'm guessing the one you mentioned will go pretty quick

Yep 3 different barrels. Two 9 year and one 10 year. This is the 10 year. I was told all 3 are very different. I just grabbed 1 though cause I'm not a huge knob Creek fan and wanted to try one first.

Ahh ok. Yeah the last KC SB I had was a rouses barrel select and it was "meh" at best. Not worth $50.

IMO this one is worth it. How is the new dump of Taylor BP?

What was the cost on that G? I'm not big on KC, well any of the four actually, but maybe worth a shot based on what you're saying.
Although I'm really waiting on what Colandros brings in in a few months.

I bought a few other things so I'm not sure but I think it was around 49. Its definitely better than regular knob creek and bookers IMO

Good deal, guess i'll have to give it a try. That's what I paid for the ECBP the other day. It'd be interesting to put those two head to head to see.
Unc, you go first and let me know.

no problem.

I had a heft pour of the new ecbp last night. It was good but needed a cube or 3. Maybe that'll change when it gets 40 degrees outside.

I saw that last night. I went and got the last one after you and left it in my truck for a while on its side. Came out and it had started to leak out....wasn't sure if the high proof started to work through the cork or just a defective bottle. But your post about the need for ice confirmed it for me.
