Thanks for the advice! Planning on going to McCradys too for sure! Already warned the Fiance that we will be spending a good amount on bourbon sampling. She seems suprisingly cool with it.

This is a good opportunity for an old married guy to review how things work in the real world.

First Conversation:
BSoBR: Honey, is it OK if we do bourbon sampling on our honeymoon?
Finance: Sure. No problem.

Second Conversation:
BSoBR: Honey, is it OK if we do bourbon sampling on our honeymoon.
Wife: Hell No, are you freaken kidding me.

See the difference?

Lol y'all are too funny. I'm pretty fortunate so far with the bourbon habit and the lady. Y'all are actually helping me a lot with that. Anytime someone posts a pic of their massive collection I just point it out to her and she realizes my addiction isn't nearly as bad as some of y'all's. Uncle Jack really helped with that front just a few weeks ago on his Kentucky Crusade.

Just wait, it's a slight progression.

My fiance (at the time girlfriend) has actively suggested we go dusty hunting a couple of times. I knew I needed to marry her after the first time. She's actually better at spotting potential places than I am.

We have a great system, I don't ask about the Amazon boxes that show up and she doesn't ask how much any of my booze cost.

I don't drink a lot of scotch but got a killer deal on the Tomatin 18 a year ago. Definitely my favorite scotch to date. Very drinkable for me, a bourbon guy, just the right amount of smoke or peat that make it delicious.

Mrs wick went fishing with little wick today. I went to Lake Charles for work. It was a little hot for bourbon earlier so Wickett and I walk down the dock while I was sipping tequila. Got a Smooth Rambler Rye OF now...

Nice. I wouldn't mind trying that one.

I may like the tom 12 over the 18. I had some bourbon between so I'll do more testing.
