This weird but every year I stock up on oban 14 and Lagavulin 16 on labor day weekend in MS. Each set of those I buy in MS is $35 cheaper than anywhere in LA.

So I stock up.

Purp how did ya score the CO

A high school friend is the co owner of a bourbon bar here in boynton. I try to latch on to the good orders when I can. I haven't tried the sour mash but it's my favorite of the Taylor's by far.

Weller 12 has been floating around the city. I grabbed few.

Warning: Dorignacs is trying (and probably will) to get $50 for a bottle.

UJ posted the story some pages back. I think it's rye period. They source it like willit but said they were stoping the bottling of rye if I recall.

Just found an unopened and very dusty bottle of Old Rip 10/90 from Lawrenceburg at a restaurant in Louisiana. They wouldn't sell me the bottle so I bought a glass. Nine dollars, seventy five cents.

Headed back tomorrow to sit and drink the rest.
