Yea and the guy told me over there that they were working out a deal with BT to get 250 bottles of assorted PVW.

The place was called morrell and company. Nice place.

I prefer D-Rock as a referral

No super rare pours but great mixed drinks (Booker's/Blanton's about as fancy as they get): Jordan makes the old fashioneds on point...

Boudin balls are better than any Lafayette spot (heresy I know!)...brisket is killer. All entrees under $18...such a great spot...

The sad thing is for a lot of those New York Wall Street types 3,250 is a drop in the bucket.

We had a joint 50th birthday party tonight for a friend and I. Bourbon themed of course. Here is the tasting line up.

I have only had the batch 1 stagg jr and it's not so great. All burn no good flavor. I have heard the other batches are much better but I have not tried them.

yea stagg jr is really spicy. not my favorite

ETA: Im a big fan of Bookers and still think Stagg Jr is too much. Ive only had it right after I opened a bottle. Hoping it has mellowed out a little over the last 2 months since

And yes we do have it at Calandros on Perkins. Come get a bottle and try it for yourself
