Sister-in-law is getting married this weekend in Natchez and the wife and I are heading over a little early. Anyone got recommendations for lunch places there?
TIA
TIA

Magnolia, the castle, pearl street pasta.

The castle is the best in town. Great fried chicken and biscuits at Carriage House. PSP is pretty boring IMO--get drinks at Bowie's. Margaritas at Fat Mamas if you like em--food could be better there, tho

The Castle, Magnolia Grill (Located Under the Hill) are my two favorite for food. I like the Fish Fry place across the river in Vidalia for a quick catfish or shrimp plate.
Bowie's, The Corner for Drinking.
Dimples if you want a quality redneck fight.
Drive across the bridge to Vidalia to McDonoughs Liquor (on Right)for "To Go Drinks and Daquiris" or general alcohol purchase if you need something.
Fat Mama's is alright. And can be a fun time with the Margaritas. The food is what it is. Not great, but not bad either.

What about Roux 61 just south of town?

I have eaten at Roux 61 and everything was great from salads to apps to entrees.

Roux 61- Have not been. Can ask around if you need info on it.
The Castle is the majority of Natchez residents favorite (people I know). Magnolia Grill is likely close second.
I will ask about the place that the original owners of Pearl Street Pasta opened and post it as well. The name of the place escapes me.

Thanks but I was just asking about Roux 61...I hardly ever eat in Natchez since it's always inbetween home and my destination. I did see a good crowd there a month or so ago when I came through.

that tex mex place on the right side of the road, on the edge of the hill, by the grocery store, about a 1/4 across the river,,,,,,, is pretty good...

Figured...it's always busy.

I can vouch for the tex mex joint on the bluff, a fine meal at the Castle, the ritas at Fat Mama's, and the redneck fights at 3am in Dimples.

Ditto. Seem to find myself in Dimples atleast 1 friday or saturday night during duck season. Hoped I would grow out of it...but my 65 year old lease partners still go.

We had a 40' long stretch Excursion take us last year. Dropped us back off at the camp at daylight.
