the only redeemable thing was the sweet peppers. I don't know why no one else has picked up on that.

I put JJ's on par with the sandwiches you get in the refrigerator section of gas stations. Quick, convenient, and fills the belly with no enjoyment. Only redeeming quality is their bread. Last time I went in they didn't have bean sprouts anymore. That used to be their second redeeming quality, minus the E. coli dice-roll. I wish JJ's gave you the option to heat your sandwich. It'd take a step up in my list if they did.

Schlotzky's... awesome, unique sub chain in Texas

Not really unique. They've been all over the country for ages.

Shreveport just got a JJ too

I have yet to go because if I want a sandwich, I go to either Firehouse or Jersey Mikes

This discussion is BS. JJ is waaay better than subway. Try the I-talian Night Club. I would say its not as good as Lenny's subs or Inga's in BR, but much better than quiznos or subway.

My go to sub at JJ's. Add peppers to that and Jalapeno chips and I'm satisfied.

It's just people giving their opinions man. Besides, they vast majority seem to agree with you that JJ is better than Subway.

Their pickles are very good, but IMO their subs suck.

They put wayyyyyy to much mayo on their subs and they don't have the versatility of subway.

Talk about overrated.

I have come to realize your typical mouth-breathing retard who complains about the amount of mayo on a JJ sub isn't familiar with the words "light" or "no".

did Firehouse just make their subs smaller? I was there last week, and there were a bunch of corporate looking guys in there, and now it seems that their subs are noticeably smaller

anyone else notice this?

Or that when you order from a "professional" sandwich shop, you expect them to put an appropriate amount amount of an ingredient on the sub, not 5x a serving.
